Family Office and Family Wealth Protection
A family office should not be understood as an elegant office for large fortunes or as a sophisticated version of investment management. Its real function is much more concrete: to organize the relationship between wealth, control, decision-making, liquidity, succession, and family.
When wealth starts to be spread across companies, real estate, accounts, financial investments, co-investments, and different members of the same family, the question stops being only what to invest in. The question becomes who owns what, who decides over what, which assets serve a personal purpose, which serve a family purpose, and how to prevent everything from depending on memory, convenience, or improvisation.
That is why a family office has more to do with wealth architecture than with financial glamour. Its purpose is to coordinate, provide visibility, reduce fragility, and prepare continuity. Not necessarily to build a large internal structure, nor to make every decision more complex than it needs to be.
